This program was launched on April 1st of 2013 by the Canadian Immigration to recruit innovative immigrant entrepreneurs to Canada. As a way to help these in-demand entrepreneurs fulfill their potential and maximize their impact on the Canadian labour market, they require the support of a designated venture capital funds, Canadian angel investor group, or business incubators before they can apply to this program. List of designated organizations can be found here: Designated Organizations
Entrepreneurs should contact those venture capital funds directly and participating venture capital funds will then decide on which companies/entrepreneurs to invest.

Almost all of Canada's provinces and territories can nominate people to immigrate to Canada. These people have the skills, education, and work experience they need to contribute to the economy of that province or territory. This program is very complex as it has two-part application stages; you must be nominate by a specific Canadian province or territory, then apply to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) to become a permanent resident of Canada.
Each participating province and territory has its own nomination guidelines, and they can change without notice.
